Blancpain Series : weekends follow each other but don’t resemble…
After the disillusion in Silverstone a month ago (withdrawal), we are back on the Paul Ricard track.

The Porsche are not doing good this year and we are now paying for it.

All this due to an incapacitating balance of performance.

However, we managed to reach the 12th rank of the qualifications, quite a performance knowing that the fastest Porsche behind us is 24th.

We were ready to fight, even the more so as we were home.

Eric Clément makes a good relay and leaves the wheel to Olivier Pla around the 17th rank.

Moving up in the classification could have been possible but a competitor closed the door, tearing the mud flap of the 997 apart.

Due to the impact, the car becomes hard to handle and sometimes even dangerous.

As previously in England we are forced to withdraw…

Let’s hope that the regulation as for the mandatory flange for the Porsche will be corrected soon, so we can prove that we are still here!
